The competition will follow the 2019 International Wushu Federation Traditional Wushu Competition Rules (for Traditional Kungfu events) and Wushu Taolu Competition Rules (for contemporary Wushu events), with the following modifications:

1. Beginner and Intermediate events shall have no penalty for performance over or under time limit.

2. For bladed weapons, firm (can support their own weight on their tip) and flexible (cannot support their own weight) weapons shall be separated into different events.

3. Competition age groups shall be further segmented into smaller groups (age brackets are confirmed during Registration).
